  1. 01Each team consists of six players, one of whom shall be the goalkeeper.
  2. 02Six substitutes per team are permitted at any time. Rolling substitutes are allowed throughout the match while the ball is in play. A substituted player may return as a substitute for another player. Substitutions take place at the same point. Outgoing players must leave the field before the replacement enters. Oncoming players are active immediately and may receive the ball.
  3. 03Each match is approximately 10–12 minutes with no interval.
  4. 04A player who is sent off shall not be allowed to take any further part in the match. A substitute is allowed for a player dismissed for misconduct during the game in which the offence occurred.
  5. 05All free kicks are indirect; opposing players shall be at least 3 metres from the ball until it is in play.
  6. 06No slide tackles. Infringement leads to a free kick against the offending team. Professional fouls will be penalised with a penalty and the player may face disciplinary action.
  7. 07There are no offside rules.
  8. 08After a goal, the game restarts with the conceding team taking a centre.
  9. 09A backpass may not be picked up by the goalkeeper.
  10. 10After holding the ball, the goalkeeper must return it into play within 5 seconds by rolling it out of the area with an under-arm bowling action. Otherwise, an indirect free-kick is given to the opposition two metres outside the area.
  11. 11The Referee’s decision on all on-field matters is final and no discussions will be entered into either on or off the field.
